Print Terms

The technical rules on this page apply to all designs sent to Deniz Matbaa or put into production. All customers placing an order or sending a design are deemed to have accepted these print terms.

1. File format

  • Preferred format: PDF (print-ready, high resolution).
  • Formats you can upload on the site: PDF, AI, EPS, TIF, PNG, JPG — up to 200 MB per file.
  • For other formats (e.g. PSD, ZIP), you can send your file via WhatsApp or email. Office files (Word, PowerPoint) are not suitable for professional printing.

2. Colour settings (CMYK)

Your design files should be in CMYK colour mode. Files prepared in RGB are converted to CMYK before printing; this conversion may cause tone differences between screen and print colours. Because screens work with different brightness and colour settings, minor tone differences between what you see on screen and the printed product, and colour differences between paper types, are not print errors. For consistent colours in recurring corporate jobs, we recommend sending us a sample of the previous print or colour codes (e.g. Pantone references).

3. Bleed

To avoid white edges after cutting, add a 3 mm bleed on each side of your design.

4. Safe area

Keep important text and logos at least 5 mm inside the cut line so that they are not affected by cutting.

5. Image resolution

For a sharp print, images should be at least 300 DPI at print size. Low-resolution images taken from the internet will print blurry.

6. File check and print approval

Our designers check uploaded files for technical suitability (size, resolution, colour mode, bleed) and contact you before printing if there is a problem. This check does not cover spelling, numbers, dates or content accuracy, which are the customer’s responsibility. Content errors in a file printed with your approval are not grounds for a reprint.

7. Content and rights

You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to the text, logos and images in your file. Unlawful content, content infringing third parties’ rights or forged documents will not be printed.
