How do you set up a roll-up?

Short answer: take the roll-up out of its bag, lay it on a flat floor, open the feet, fit the pole, pull the print slowly up out of the base and hook it onto the top of the pole. To take it down, unhook the print and guide it slowly back into the base by hand; never let it snap back.

What is in the set?

Our roll-up is 85 × 200 cm and comes as a set: the aluminium base the print rolls into, feet, the pole that holds the print up, a carry bag and the digitally printed banner. Prices start at TRY 2,700 (VAT incl.).

Step-by-step set-up

  1. Put the bag on a flat floor, take out the base and lay it down with the print side facing you.
  2. Open the feet under the base; it should stand flat without wobbling.
  3. Fit the pole (joining its sections if it has any) into its socket on the base.
  4. Hold the top rail of the print with both hands and pull it straight up out of the base, slowly; do not tilt it sideways.
  5. Hook the top rail onto the end of the pole and check that the print hangs flat and taut.

One person can set it up; the first time takes a few minutes.

Taking it down

  • Do not let go when you unhook the top rail; the spring inside the base rolls the print back in.
  • Guide the print down slowly by hand; if it snaps back, the edges can get damaged.
  • Remove the pole, fold the feet and put the base back in its bag.

Where to use it

A roll-up is for indoor use: exhibition stands, shop entrances, meetings, hotel lobbies and event receptions. It can tip over in windy open areas; for long outdoor use a banner is better, and for short indoor notices a poster. In busy walkways, place it where nobody trips over the feet.

Carrying and storage

  • Carry it in its bag and protect the base, where the print is rolled up, from being crushed.
  • Store it somewhere dry with nothing heavy on top.
  • We ship anywhere in Türkiye: the roll-up arrives packed in its bag.

Preparing the file

  • The file size is 85 × 200 cm; add 3 mm bleed on each side. At this size 100–150 DPI is enough.
  • A roll-up is read at eye level: keep the logo and headline in the upper half and nothing important at the very bottom.
  • It is read from a distance, so use little text, large type and strong contrast; keep the phone, website or QR code in the middle section.
